There's an Animal in the Shop!

Activities at Pacers often drew a crowd. On this particular evening, along with the men, was another onlooker. Taz wasn’t the only animal in the shop. Tonight a monkey joined the men. Yes, a real live monkey. Cute and agile, this little monkey sat perched upon the shoulders of its owner. He was oblivious to the tasks at hand. Although he was entertaining, the real entertainment was the Taz.
Charlie, George and Otto were busy fine tuning. Anticipation was building. With each adjustment, each turn of a wrench, expectations grew. Each brought them one step closer to their final goal... More on that in a moment.
As the men worked, the monkey decided to try a taller perch. That perch? Otto. At well over 6 feet, Otto's shoulders made for the perfect sight seeing roost.
Having a monkey on your shoulders tends to grab your attention. Can you imagine the difficulty focusing on engine timings and gaskets, with a literal monkey on your back?
Otto was enjoying the unusual antics bouncing about his shoulders. Charlie and George continued working.
A major highlight of being at the shop, that 'final goal,' was witnessing Taz get fired up.
That is... unless you are the monkey...
Whap ROAR! Like a thunderclap the engine started - and with that, so did the monkeys bowels. The overwhelming noise, literally and figuratively, scared the shit out of the poor little, no longer deemed cute, animal.
Poor monkey, yes... but, Poor Otto!
My father, a somewhat intelligent, capable, grown man, was reduced into heaps of hysteria. Pointing his finger at Otto, he laughed for at least an hour.
"I can still see Charlie’s face as he pointed. He nearly split himself in half with laughter. Boy, did he bust a gut." Uncle Otto laughed thinking about it.
Every time the men recounted the incident, Dad would laughed himself sick.
